The Street Capture project by Ariel Zuckerman Studio

Tel-Aviv based Ariel Zuckerman Studio has initiated the Street Capture project, combining fabulous street art and furniture design.

“Street capture” is a unique project which deals with the combination of street art and furniture, by attaching wooden boards to the walls of the streets, with the purpose of supplying a clean canvas for graffiti artists, in anonymous way. After the surfaces drowned with graffiti, the wooden pallets are taken to the workshop and turn into Furniture.

About Ariel Zuckerman: Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design (2004) from Shenkar College of engineering and design, Israel. An award winning product designer, products designed by Ariel have been displayed on various exhibitions museums and galleries, and published around the world. Ariel has been developing and designing various furniture and products. Among which are modular Joinery systems that create a variety of furniture for the house and office environment, multi-function modular system that holds L’Oreal products and others for Office Depot displays, DIY outdoor and indoor storage solutions for the North American and European market as a designer for “Keter”, one of the leading plastic consumer companies in the world.In 2010 Ariel started his own studio which specializes in consumer products, furniture and lightings. In 2013 he was a finalist at the Israeli Design Award and won and Excellence Scholarship “Fresh Paint “Fair.
