Introducing the “Stacked – Hong Kong” architectural photography series by Peter Stewart.
Peter Stewart is actually a travel photographer from Perth, Western Australia, focused on capturing bustling cityscapes and vibrant landscapes wherever his passport will take him, but he also has a growing passion for working with film and shooting street photography.
What interests us most about his fantastic work though is his “Stacked – Hong Kong” architectural photography series. Where he has been seeking out some of the most repetitive architectural sights in Hong Kong and has managed to turn them into quite a few amazing, absolutely hypnotizing compositions.
After picking up his first ever camera in 2009 and with no prior experience, he began to see things differently through the window of his viewfinder. His passion stems from travel and the desire to visit and document all the amazing places the world has to offer. And his goal is simply to create images that make you go “wow”.
He shoots primarily on digital, which makes up the bulk of his main portfolio, however over the past year he has made a huge investment into shooting film and experimenting with different shooting styles.
