Pat Perry is an artist from Michigan who writes and makes pictures through careful and cautious observation. He works itinerantly, and is a member of the Beehive Design Collective.
And we absolutely love his sketchbook series, a collection of magnificent drawings.
Pat Perry spent most of 2014 living a transient life spread across the U.S., according to his blog. And his travels took him and his backpack to New England, Arkansas, and Texas, all the while dutifully recording his thoughts and observations in his sketchbook. And this rural America has a constant presence in Perry’s work.
Fantastic work, indeed. Thumbs up, mate.
