British luxury automaker Bentley has teamed up once again with French crystal manufacturer Lalique on its most expensive fragrance ever.
Lalique for Bentley Blue Crystal Edition is actually a follow-up to the brand’s Lalique for Bentley Crystal Edition series that started last year. The Blue Crystal Edition costs around $5,700, which, if you stop for a moment and think it through, is still a fraction of Bentley’s most modestly priced Continental GT Coupe.
Lalique for Bentley Blue Crystal Edition is an artistic blend of midnight-blue crystal, sublime fragrance and luxurious design. The eau de parfum itself is an elixir of fine woody notes and exquisite leather, composed by Mylène Alran from the French perfume house Robertet, who also created the fragrance for the first edition. The woody heart notes is distinguished by white cedar wood and patchouli, enhanced with rare papyrus essence to give the composition its authentically masculine, charismatic and luxurious character. The base notes contain mellifluous amber and musk, which together create a timelessly sensual aura.
The bespoke fragrance comes in a 40cl flacon, made from deep blue crystal and is decorated with the iconic Bentley mascot “Flying B” and the Bentley knurling on the stopper.
Since only 499 bottles of this nectar in blue falcon will be released this autumn, it is expected to fly off the shelves very soon before Christmas – available at Harrods from next month.
Probably the perfect gift for the man who has it all…
