Amsterdam-based brand Filling Pieces has just released photos from their Spring/Summer 2014 lookbook.
The Amsterdam import, which was established in 2009, has pulled on quality materials and innovative design under the direction of designer Guillaume Philibert. Filling Pieces synching up with the release of their 2014 Collection, the lookbook shows the brand successfully bridging the divide between high end with street footwear-like designs. Besides, there is a strong concept behind the brand and its products. The shoes are the filling piece in a gap; the gap between Haute Couture and Street Couture. Filling Pieces succeeds in filling this gap with good quality products and great design. The shoes are sporty and classy chic at the same time and connect people and styles. With the standard sneaker silhouette, the designs feature leather uppers with stitched or perforated detailing.
The new range features trainers in neutral tones such as grey, beige and brown with occasional pops of red and more sophisticated all-black pieces. And they are all hand made in Portugal.
The collection is available to buy online now from the brand’s e-commerce store.
Remember: Alongside its fashion endeavours, the label also operates the FP For Charity project, giving back to communities in which it works. Most recently, on a trip to Suriname in South America to shoot their lookbook, the brand distributed fifty pairs of shoes to orphans from children’s home Emmaus.
