This is the debut of a unique collaboration: Maserati showcases its partnership with Ermenegildo Zegna in a special Quattroporte at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Yes, it’s true. Maserati decided to actually suit up. Hence this magnificent collaboration with the house of Ermenegildo Zegna and the birth of the Maserati 2014 Quattroporte.
The car is finished with a special paint that emits the fluidity and purity of aluminum metal, giving the sensation of sleek, modern, and speed. This special paint will also be applied to the car’s 20-inch Mercurio rims, along with a mirror-polished finish. An important role for the Maserati Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna Limited Edition concept car has the interior though. It’s damn classic, with spectacularly warm mocha and grey beige tones that obviously smell like Zegna. Components of the rich interior such as the seats, door panels and roof lining are made out of soft leather, next to a very soft and light wool material used often by the house of Zegna, very suitable for cars, as well as for suits.
And under the bonnet the Quattroporte will be powered by a standard V8 twin turbo engine with 540PS and 710Nm or torque. Top speed will remain at 190mph, with the 0-62mph sprint taking just 4.7 seconds.
Maserati, who presents the car as a limited edition concept, has the intention to come up with a production version of the car in 2014.
And yes, this is probably the ultimate definition of timeless class and luxury.
