Rezvani Motors has officially unveiled the Beast, designed by Samir Sadikhov.Yes, the Beast was designed by Samir Sadikhov – who has previously created the Aston Martin DBC and Ferrari Xerzi concepts – and features a stylish carbon fiber body, slender headlights and an aggressive rear diffuser. And Rezvani Motors is promising to shame other supercars with it. Ridiculous claim? Perhaps, not – given the lightweight racing technologies that go with that engine.
DDM Works, the company responsible for theAriel Atom, contributed much of the ingenuity behind both the Beast 300 and Beast 500 models. The 500 is named appropriately for its high output 2.4-liter supercharged engine that delivers 500 horsepower, while the 300 offers a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that churns out 315 horsepower, with both models weighing in under 1,600 pounds.
Thanks in part to its 1,550 lb curb weight, the BEAST 500 can sprint from a standstill to 60 mph in 2.7 seconds. The BEAST 300 can reach 60 mph in only 2.9 seconds, tipping the scales at a featherlight 1,470 lbs.
Over the next few months, production will be beginning for Rezvani’s two models, clocking in with a base price of $119,000 USD and $139,000 respectively for the 300 and 500. The company will also offer a “launch edition” for the first two clients with the 315hp model priced at $99,500 and the 500hp at $124,900. Finally, Rezvani Motors says it will also transform existing Ariel Atoms to Beast models for $49,000 for the Beast 300 and $69,000 for the Beast 500 Launch Editions.
